The documents for MCJ are all stored on the filesystem in a tree, which makes finding text easy. Recoll is the best local search engine we could find. Here is an example:
For minor corrections it is easy to just open and edit the text directly. If the scripts are running you can just view the page with localhost as you edit, and it will automatically refresh if live.js is configured.
It is also quite easy to just search for a particular page and republish the website. As an example, I had a memory about CJ and Chips Ahoy cookies today. I just ran mon.py, searched for cj, added the bit about the cookies, and republished:
